About Meredith

Meredith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychoanalyst with a private psychotherapy practice in New York.

Meredith’s approach to therapy emphasizes the value of the therapist-patient relationship as an essential component to creating a safe and supportive environment. She will work with you to be open, curious and thoughtful in understanding what isn't working for you and how to make it better. By exploring life experiences, personal triggers and relationship dynamics, Meredith hopes to help you gain a greater awareness and understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviors in order to have more meaningful and fulfilling relationships and life as a whole.

Meredith works predominantly from a psychodynamic relational perspective and incorporates aspects of other treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychoanalysis and mindfulness, when necessary to fit the needs of the individual.

Meredith received her Masters in Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work. She completed the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Training Program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in 2018 and then the Psychoanalytic Program at ICP in 2021. She completed all three levels of couples training through the Gottman Institute.
